Position: STOREMAN BENROSE BRANCH

Description:

Storeman SECURITY TECHNOLOGIESBENROSE RAND BRANCH 

Duties include:

Ø      Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

Ø      Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

Ø      Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

Ø      Marks materials with identifying information.

Ø      Opens bales, crates and other containers.

Ø      Records amount of materials or items received or distributed.

Ø      Weighs or counts items or tickets from customer specifications.

Ø      Completes requisition forms to order supplies other plant departments.

Ø      Receiving in of goods and issuing out of repaired goods.

Ø      Prepares parcels for mailing.

Ø      Maintains inventory records.

Ø      Assists with Stock Takes. 

Skills required:

Ø      Matric and/or one to three years related experience.

Ø      Interpersonal skills.

Ø      Must be computer literate.

Ø      Basic mathematical skills.

Ø      Basic reasoning ability.

Ø      Drivers License an advantage.
