Sales RepresentativeSECURITY TECHNOLOGIESEAST RAND BRANCHDuties include:Ø Sells products from distributor to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, store, showroom, or customer's place of business.Ø Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.Ø Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.Ø Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalogue, and emphasizes sellable features.Ø Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.Ø Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.Ø Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.Ø Tracks stock levels.Ø Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.Ø Attends trade shows. Skills required: Ø Matric and/or one to three years related experience.Ø Interpersonal skills.Ø Must be computer literate.Ø Current valid driver’s license.Ø Basic mathematical skills.Ø Basic reasoning ability. Alarms / Access and CCTV Technical and Sales experience an advantage.
