Position: COMMERCIAL SALES REP

Description:

Commercial Sales Rep

SECURITY COMPANYJOHANNESBURG (BENROSE) BRANCH 

Duties include:

Ø      Sells a select and specified range of products to commercial, business and retail establishments.

Ø      Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.

Ø      Travels throughout assigned territory to call on

Ø      Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalogue, and emphasizes sellable features.

Ø      Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.

Ø      Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.

Ø      Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.

Ø      Tracks stock levels. 

    Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.

Ø      Attends trade shows.  Skills required:

Ø      Matric and/or one to three years related experience.

Ø      Interpersonal skills.

Ø      Must be computer literate.

Ø      Current valid driver’s license.

Ø      Basic mathematical skills.

Ø      Basic reasoning ability.

Ø      Alarms , Access Control and CCTV sales experience an advantage.  

APPLICANT NEEDS TO BE FULLY BILINGUAL AND WELL SPOKEN, KNOWLEDGE OF CCTV AND ALARM SYSTEMS, BE ABLE TO OPERATE COMMERCIAL BUSINESS  SECTOR, HAVE OWN TRANSPORT AND BE SELF MOTIVATED
